Management of rotavirus diarrhoea in children

Rotavirus is the leading cause of acute gastroenteritis. Humoral and cellular immunity ensures the protection of the body from rotavirus. However, there is a lack of evidence on improvement in immune therapy markers by standard therapy. This paper showcases the evidence of the favourable impact of B. clausii on immune markers in the treatment of rotavirus infection caused by diarrhoea. The favourable impact mainly shows a reduction in clinical symptoms like diarrhoea, general weakness, fever and vomiting.
