Gut Microbiota in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: A Systematic Review

PCOS is one of the most popular diseases that cause menstrual dysfunction and infertility in women. It has been found that women with PCOS have a decreased biodiversity in the gut microbiome and changes in specific bacterial taxa compared with healthy women. Targeted microbiome modulation can be a novel potential therapeutic strategy.
