Former cricketer, Jonty Rhodes shares his experience of dealing with childhood epilepsy. Mr. Rhodes shares that they were three brothers out of which he was dealing with epilepsy. But, his parents were quite understanding and ensured that he was free to do all that he wanted but with care and caution. The renowned doctors share career discrimination can impact a person in the real world. Research and studies show that a person if free to choose the career they want to proceed with. But the most important thing is knowledge – to have the right information. Remember to consult the doctor before taking up a job. Lastly, we must remember that when people with epilepsy are accepted, understood and embraced, it makes a lot of difference in their lives.
