Diabetes has affected people far and wide and so much so in India as well. However, there are very few longitudinal studies that measure the complications of diabetes over time. LANDMARC study is the pan India study that measured and assessed the real-time data of outcomes of diabetes in real-time. This is by far one of the longest studies conducted on diabetes in India. The LANDMARC study is the first prospective, multicentre, longitudinal, observational study investigating a large cohort of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus across India over a period of 3 years.
