Management strategies and outcomes in renal transplant recipients recovering from COVID-19: A retrospective, multicentre, cohort study
The outcome and follow-up course of recipients of kidney transplants who have recovered from COVID-19 are excellent and also not complicated by any COVID-19 sequelae. There is no need for any alteration in induction or immunosuppressive regimen in these patients. Thymoglobuline use was associated with fewer acute rejection episodes as compared to other induction strategies.
