About Dr Abdul Wahid

Abdul-Wahid Mohammad

Dr Abdul-Wahid Mohammad is a pioneering portfolio pharmacist with a PhD in the design and implementation of new models of healthcare. With over 18 years of experience in the healthcare sectors of pharmacy and primary care, he has delivered innovation in service delivery for crucial NHS stakeholders and organisations. These opportunities have allowed the fulfilment of his primary goal to empower NHS organisations and thought leaders to differentiate themselves from the status quo and drive measurable results through ground breaking clinical, financial, and patient outcomes.

Abdul-Wahid is currently a non-executive director for Medway Practice Alliance LTD, GP Federation and a sessional lecturer at Canterbury  Christchurch University for Non-Medical Prescribing. He is pharmacy workstream lead for the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Partnership Diabetes Oversight committee.

Alongside he is a keen researcher, speaker, teacher and mentor in all things Pharmacy,  Pharmaceutical Care and Diabetes. He is also a recognised national speaker in these subjects. His other interests include nutrition and fitness, and most importantly spending time with his wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters. 

Throughout his career, Abdul-Wahid has worked with numerous organisations across a wide range of sectors and implemented new service delivery models which have generated outstanding clinical, and financial outcomes.
