Dr Jennifer Sisson

Biography
Dr Jennifer Sisson is currently the Chief Medical Officer of The Travel Doctor TMVC. She has worked in the areas of travel, occupationation and tropical medicine for over 20 years. She originally trained as a GP and combined both General Practice and travel medicine for 10 years. Now she solely works in this area. ennifer obtained a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. She is a fellow of both RACGP and ACTM (Australian College of Tropical Medicine) and belongs to the International Society of Travel Medicine and ANZSOM (ANZ Society of Occ Medicine). Currently she works mainly in the areas of travel consultations, medical assessments for pre-deployment, offshore workers and commercial divers. She also advised multiple companies on requirements for employees and contractors based overseas.. She has designed the doctor training programme for SHP for Travel Medicine , regularly trains doctors and gives lectures at conferences in Australia and overseas.
