Sanofi Campus Canada Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment

Sanofi is committed to providing digital solutions that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, disability, race, cultural background, gender, or technological requirements.

This accessibility statement applies to https://www.campus.sanofi/ca

2. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, due to the limitations described below.

3. Known limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of this website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Videos: Some videos do not include closed captions or audio descriptions.

Images:

  • Some images do not have an alternative text.
  • Some images depict complex or scientific diagrams, or tables, which cannot be fully described using alt-text alone. Please look for “Full Text” buttons which open a pop-up and include the full text of the image.

Tables:

  • Some tables have been used to arrange content visually rather than used for tabular data.
  • Some tables have been rendered as images rather than HTML tables. Please look for a “Full Text” button for an alternative presentation of the table.

Lists: Some content which could be a list has been created using blocks of headers and paragraphs rather than an ordered or unordered list.

Interactive controls: Some interactive areas of the website, including forms, have elements that may be inaccessible by keyboard or by screenreader navigation, or have required fields that are not programmatically marked. If you are unable to complete a form, please contact us for support.

Keyboard focus: When navigating the site by keyboard, the focus state or highlight is challenging to see, including some buttons that are inside of colored containers.

Color contrast ratio: Some elements do not meet the minimum thresholds and may be challenging for some people to view and distinguish.

Links readability: Some links are identified only with color. Items in the main navigation menu may appear as regular text with no colour or underline to identify them as links.

Target Size: Some targets do not meet minimal size requirements.

Screen Reader: Some scientific or medical words may be challenging for a screen reader to pronounce correctly.

PDFs: Some of the downloadable PDFs on this site are not formatted for accessibility.
