Tutkimushankkeen tavoitteena on tuottaa geneettistä tietoa 500 000 suomalaisesta biopankkinäytteen antajasta. Genomitiedon yhdistäminen terveystietoihin mahdollistaa tutkimuksen tavoittelemat tieteelliset läpimurrot, paremman ymmärryksen sairauksien syntymekanismeista ja uusien hoitokeinojen kehittämisen.
