Due to the multisystemic and progressive nature of Fabry disease, it is essential to implement patient-centered approach in disease management including not only Fabry-specific treatment, but also different adjunctive therapies helping to improve patients’ survival and quality of life. All patients with Fabry disease require an initial assessment of affected organs and setting adequate treatment goals before treatment start, they also need thorough regular follow-up to assess therapeutic response, and disease progression.
