Epidermal barrier dysfunction in type 2 related diseases and its connection to the Atopic march
Dr. Shahryar Mir received his medical degree from the University Medical Center in Amsterdam. He is a paediatrician and global health researcher with special focus on allergy, type 2 related diseases, birth defects, and genetics, both in the Netherlands and in low- and middle-income countries through outreach research projects. He combines his experience and interests as a medical doctor with a keen scientific mind.

New scientific evidence on the effect of AD treatment on the skin barrier
Dr. Robert Bissonnette is Board certified in dermatology, president and founder of Innovaderm Research, a CRO specializing in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials in dermatology. He earned his medical degree in dermatology at the University of Montreal and completed his research training at McGill University and the University of British Columbia. He was an Associate Professor of dermatology at the University of Montreal until 2004 and is the author of over 230 publications.
